A visit to Stomapolis starts with establishing a patient chart. It is necessary to provide some basic information at the reception (first name, last name, date of birth, address, PESEL number, telephone number, e-mail address). Then we also conduct an interview regarding patient’s general state of health, the list of taken medicines, allergies, past diseases, treatments and other therapies. This knowledge allows us to maintain the security of our services and also to choose an appropriate anesthesia for patients suffering from hypertension, asthma, arrhythmias, epilepsy or allergic to any medicine. The information collected is confidential and used only for the purpose of therapy.

DENTAL HEALTH HISTORY –  we ask about the last dental appointment, about the problem that brings the patient to our clinic, as well as about patient’s previous experience connected with dental treatment. This is aimed at getting to know the patient, knowing his or her attitude as well as possible, and also at reading patient’s needs.

DENTAL CHECK-UP – the result of dental check-up is marked on the teeth diagram in patient’s chart. If necessary, we make X-rays or conduct some additional examination. The patient receives information about the condition of his or her oral cavity, then the proposed plan of treatment is determined. The implementation of the treatment plan starts during the same visit or at a later date in accordance with the patient’s wish.

CHILDREN AT THE DENTIST the first meeting of little patients serves mainly as a familiarization with the dentist room. Children are encouraged to become acquainted with the equipment. During the first meeting, children may touch the tools and see how they work. We explain children and parents, how to care for their teeth as well as watch the teeth of the little patient. If a child is ready, we start the treatment or plan to undertake it at a later date. Our brave patients (including adults) can always count on a sweet surprise after the visit.
